Roxy Ride Days Grouse Mountain, Vancouver:

February 4th, 2012.

The first stop of the Roxy Ride Days Canadian Tour went off at Grouse Mountain this weekend! 45 girls from Vancouver and area came out to enjoy a rare bluebird day at Grouse and learn mad skills in the Quiksilver park. The vibe was nothing short of a girls only snowboard summer camp, girls hiked the park all day in tank tops and sunglasses. Demoing the 2013 lineup of Roxy snowboards and pushing themselves to master new tricks.

The day opened with the massive crew running warmup laps of the mountain while practicing ollies, pops, switch riding and overall steeze. The group took over the park with a rail, box and jump sessions available for girls to choose from throughout the day.The coaches helped them step up their skills from first time 50’50′s, urban rail hits and tech tricks on the rail and boxes to grabs, spins and big air on the jumps. With a quick break for lunch, they were back at it with a game of R.O.X.Y on all 3 clinic features with a winner takes all from each category. Many thanks to Grouse Mountain for making this event a success!
