Who Are We?
What is the Women’s Snowboard Federation you ask…. where do they come from and what have they done?
It all started in 2006 with 3 girls from Barrie who wanted provide something unavailable to girls across Ontario, snowboarding clinics taught by girls, run by girls and only for girls.
Since the first year, our experience has led us to work with and build partnerships with some of the leaders in women’s events as well as gain experience in all aspects of event planning and organization.
We started as Inverno Clinics running weekly clinics at a grassroots level. We have now have grown to be the Women’s Snowboard Federation, providing private clinics, a shred sisters events team, and various events through partnership organizations such as Rugged Riders and the Association of Ontario Snowboarders and the national Women In Snowboarding program. We will continue to grow and develop the snowboard scene for girls across Ontario and Canada.
What Do We Do?
Private Clinics + Events Team
The WSF has been providing all girls snowboarding events run by girls, taught by girls and only for girls across Ontario and Quebec since 2006.
We strive each year to provide an encouraging atmosphere to get girls of all ages and abilities into the park, increase their confidence, meet new friends and also develop a community of women dedicated to women’s snowboarding and women’s snowboard events.
We Specialize In
Event Management: On & off hill functions specializing in all girls snowboarding.
Snowboard Clinics: Staff Days, Resort Women’s Days, All Girls Clinics.
Private Coaching: You choose the resort, we bring the coach for one on one or a group.
Trained and Certified Event Staff: CSCP/NCCP Coaches, CASI, FIS Certified Judges, Professional Photographers & Filmers.
